Ambatana Threads is a local handmade clothing and accessory
business created for the purpose of providing refugee women with
opportunities to earn fair wages while using their talents and
skills -- whether in finance, clothing design, communication, etc. We design, construct and sell unique skirts,
handbags and accessories to meet a variety of customer interests
and personalities. Through sales of our unique threads, we seek to educate, encourage and inspire the customer to
become aware of the challenges faced by women and families
resettling in our country. Thus, Ambatana Threads strives to unite women and children across
cultures, that they may learn from and become
inspired by one another.
